Paola Dawson was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1984. She moved to Boca Raton, Florida, in 1998, where she lives with her husband and three children. She demonstrated her artistic abilities as a small child; her joy and admiration for the Creator led her to further pursue her talents, transforming them into a successful career.

Throughout her fifteen years in the art industry, Paola has succeeded in expressing herself and touching many lives. She is a face painter, balloon artist, party entertainer, fine artist, commercial artist, art instructor, dance performer, instructor and actress.

Her lively personality shines as she loves to entertain people of all ages through face painting, balloon animal design, and dance performances.

Her painting style is very versatile. Different methods such as 3D exploration and the use of mixed media elevate her paintings and give them life in a subtle, yet profound way.  She often chooses earth tones in acrylics, oils, and pastels, which complement her style. In every portrait, she aims to express a glimpse of the subject’s personality, and her passion for nature’s beauty is easily noticeable in her floral work.

Paola also works as an art therapist. She shares her gifts with seniors and people with cognitive impairments in private and group settings. Her work as an art therapist inspired her to write a book, “The Heart Remembers,” which she co-authored with one of her students who has Alzheimer’s.

Paola is trained in over sixteen Latin American and ballroom dances, and has attained her teaching certification from the DVIDA program. She has also been inspired by her dance career to write a children’s book called a “A Dancing Dream,” to encourage kids to follow their passion.

As an instructor of the arts, whether in dance or painting, her goal is to stimulate and inspire others to refine their style, give them creative tools, and have fun in the process.

Her latest project has been producing the “Spotty Dotty Show”.  A children’s show, that encourages kids to create and be their best! For more information visit her YouTube Channel
